We have been breeding Jack Russell Terrier since 1987, and were founding members of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Queensland.

Despite our many wins in the show ring our aim is to continue to improve the breed and retain its true terrier spirit and temperament.

We breed to the  Australian Standard which is 10" - 12"
Rough, Broken or Smooth coated.

We are a small  kennel of 6 dogs ( 5 bitches and 1 stud dog), all our dogs are part of  our family, they are just as happy on our bed as in the show ring !

OUR 1ST GRAND CHAMPION in 2007 !

Grand Champion JRWessex Thorn Boy ME
Congratulations to Steve and Carolyn O'Conner for all their efforts with Thorn.

He was also the 4th dog in Australia and only the 2nd Jack Russell to reach the highest level in Earth Dog Trials of Master Earth Dog
I'm still checking to see if Thorn is the 1st Queensland Bred Jack Russell to gain his Grand Champion title !

Our Girls
CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF BREEDING THESE WONDERFUL TERRIERS
JRWessex Tic Tac Toya

Best Minor in Show at Capricorn Coast Kennel Club on 5th May 2008
( it was the Open Show - but lets not tell everyone!)

I would like to thank Lauren and her Mum Donna Horn for helping me to get this stubbon little girl to walk on a lead!

Toya received her first challenge points and Best of Breed while we were in Rockhampton in May -  a great start to her show career.
We have another puppy due to start his show career - JRWessex Letsgo Bro
(GdChJRWessex Thorn Boy/JRWessex Razzal Dazzel)

I have spent many years waiting to breed a  smooth boy good enough to replace my wonderful Santa (who has now been retired ), perhaps Bro will be the one.

Bro is only 12 weeks old - so very early days yet - but he is showing potential.

As all breeders would know, you can never tell until the pups are at least 6 months old.

Photos soon.
